This week has been another failure of a blogging week, it has to be said and acknowledged. I have no real excuse other than a lack of inspiration (and work, and the heat and alcohol...again).
But this is not a real excuse, instead I shall just persevere.
I still have minimal amounts of stuff to say, however I wish to share with you the beautiful rose that was bought for me by some lovely guy I bumped into whilst drinking with a friend.
I'm loving how it looks with the shoe picture I have behind it as well. Something about it just seems to stylish and lovely. Or perhaps that's just me being a little bit up myself about the styling of my room. Yeah, probably.
I also wanted to just have a little "summer's here" moment. This does include a picture of my belly button, because I have returned to my hi-ho-sailor belly bar. I love love love this, and for some reason it really represents summer to me. I dunno what it is, but there ya go, I am somewhat weird.
What with it being summer, I'm also noticing the change in people's clothing. Perhaps I'm a bit slow, but it certainly seems like the maxi-dress has made it full onto the highstreet now. Like, even back last summer, it seemed that as soon as it got hot, the girls were in shorts and short skirts etc... But this year, I see far more in maxi dresses. Or maybe this is just the difference between London and Oxford. The possibilities are endless. All I know is I am seeing far more legs covered with long skirts/dresses, that I'm seeing bare legs, bare stomachs and all such things that can be somewhat mentally scarring on the wrong person.
Oh, and one final note. I FINALLY got some new sunglasses. Woo. Only £12 from Debenhams, Redherring at Debenhams. I'm happy happy happy. I'm not 100% sure they necessarily suit me, but hey, for that price, considering the speed at which I break my sunglasses, they will suffice for now. And hopefully they'll help ease my itchy eyes. Win.
That's it for now. Might manage to do an outfit post tomorrow if it's still sunny and I'm feeling inspired. We'll see I guess :)
