Today it is snowing. In case you hadn't guessed.
Boyfriend and I went to the shops today, and as it was very cold, I decided I needed layers and lots of them.
But oh the horror! How do I do this without looking horrendous (correct answer; I don't) but none the less I gave it a shot with the following combination (with no picture, sorry).
2 pairs of socks - one normal, one thermal. One pair of leggings. One pair of skinny jeans (mission and a half to get over leggings, but worth it for the toastiness). One strap top, one tshirt, one jumper and one hoody. To finish off the chunkiness that was me for this outing, I chucked on my ever faithful hand knitted scarf and ventured outside. It's beautiful outside. Really beautiful.
I fully intend to go out this afternoon, after a warming lunch, and make a snow man and take photographs. Well, more photographs that are worth actually showing.
This afternoon, I may also be venturing out with fellow blogger, Jennily, on the hunt for locations to photograph her beautiful dresses to put into her portfolio for her uni interview. Good luck Jennily :)
Muppet here, for some crazy ass reason that I haven't worked out yet, agreed to model them for her. I also, in a moment of craziness this morning whilst still half asleep, also agreed that if she wanted, I would let her photograph me, in the snow, wearing nothing but the dresses, a pair of tights and heels - no coats, no scarfs, nothing. Meep! This shall be vair interesting.
Shall keep updated today, and possibly tomorrow if the snow continues as it is. I can't get my car out, and the buses aren't running so I'm unable to venture into work. Instead, I'm making an effort to work on my blog, tidy my room *yeah right*, and okay, main thing, play on Sims 2 that boyfriend installed on my computer for me yesterday evening.
Yes, I know Sims 3 is where it's at now, but I'm far too cool for that, so Sims 2 will satisfy my needs.
Have a good snow day fellow England-ers, anddddd if you haven't got snow, well you're lucky/unlucky (depending how you view it) :)
