Rasberry Beret

The title has nothing to do with the post - I have my music player on random play, and that was the first song it tried to put on this afternoon, thus the title is now stuck in my head. I'm cool.

This is what I'm wearing today, because the sun is out and I'm finally starting to feel like dress up. I realised that, by accident, today's look kind of ended up looking a bit fifties house wife gone rock 'n' roll.... Not a usual combination I'd say.
So what am I wearing? Well, grey skinnies (Criminal Damage from friend); white strap top (Primark); shirt (River Island); black hoody (Primark) and brown leather jacket (Florence + Fred @ Tesco). I also randomly decided to shove on one of the neckerchief type things (Blue Banana) around my neck, until 30 seconds later I decided it looked crap, so I rolled it up and used it as a hairband instead. I also wore my Converse today for the first time in what feels like forever. It felt good; I felt good. I look like I've got a black eye, but I feel good, so I don't mind too much.

In other news, as I mentioned in my last post, me and fellow blogger Jennily are heading into our local city, Oxford, for the Affordable Vintage Fair which is coming there for the FIRST EVER TIME (as far as I know). So excited. Already have a vague idea of budget for myself (next to nothing, I'm super poor at the moment) and what I'm looking for (denim shirt, florals, lace, underwear-as-outwear and skirts)... That said, I may not need to buy a denim shirt as I may be going proper old-skool and having my mum's old one, which'll be a little large on me, but with a belt and a bit of cutting and stitching, it'll perhaps look rather good. We'll see I guess though, I need to see/try it first.

Nothing else to report for now. I'm off to look at deviantART.
