Topshop, Not So Top

I think I've come to the realisation that I am quite possibly the only person in the world (aged between 13 and 30) who does not like Topshop. I have never actually met another person who doesn't like Topshop - everyone seems to state it as one of their favourite high street stores.

Now, don't get me wrong, I can see the basis of it's appeal to most people; and I'll be completely honest I do own Topshop products and will always have a browse; but I just never find anything I like, and never like their layouts etc.
Perhaps it's the rebel within me trying so desperately to be different, but I really do not like them majority of the time.
In fact, in all honesty, I can say I only own 2 pieces from Topshop (if you ignore their underwear, because I fell in love with Girl Boxers when I was like 13 and have refused to take them off since - that said I haven't bought anymore Topshop underwear for at least 18 months).
One of these pieces isn't even Topshop designed, it's just part of a collaboration between Topshop and Illustrated People.
The other piece I bought in a sale way back in like 2007. I still wear it, and still like it, but I think because it was such a basic piece. I don't wear it often though. The piece that was a collaboration with Illustrated People is that gorgeous dress that I wore a lot after I got it, but haven't worn for a couple of weeks now.

So what is it I hold against them? Nothing specific in all honesty. I find some, no, most of their pieces over priced for what they are. I find majority of their branches too crowded, and I can never find anything that suits my style in there, not even on their website.
I like their cropped tees, the bog standard style ones - but when they start at around £10, I can't justify it considering I usually spend that much on a full length tee, at most.
Some of their shirts are lovely as well - I rather like this gorgeous shirt. However, look at the price tag - £28. £28 for a shirt! And I don't think it's even like a long length one like my one from Uniqlo - which I only paid £19.99 for.
Frustration at Topshop.

Anyway, end of rant.
Tonight at 8pm, we have Devil Wears Prada on Channel 4 (I think). I've seen it before, but I'm going to watch it again because it's rather good and because I need something to keep me up to a reasonable hour before I give in to my exhaustion from lack of sleep last night.
Can I pretty please have a pair of shoes like this? I think it would be truly awesome to have a pair of red stilettos with the devil's fork as the heel. Oh the pain you could inflict on stupid men.
